You hardly EVER complain, Phillipa. And you very seldom reach out for support.
AND you're VERY often 'there for' people, even if it's a quick comment to let them know you care.
I don't know what you're referring to about the dislike thing. I've been reading the posts here on Social & haven't seen anything that leads me to think anyone dislikes you.
If people dislike others replying to alot of posts, then I'm sure they dislike me also! I tend to get compulsive & gabby when I'm on here!
Anyway, maybe you're feeling extra sensitive or vulnerable during your convalescence, which would be totally understandable if you were.
kk's ideas sound good. If you're uncomfortable though, it might be hard to do much.
Once you're feeling better, maybe you can do a 'baby-step' program about getting out. I know you go out & ride your bike, no? Anyway, I'm sure you'd get support from us if you decide to venture forth in a way that you've found hard in the past Phillipa. Angela2 said she's taking a little break, but when she comes back she might be a 'venture-forth buddy' for you. I am quite sure she mentioned being interested in that before.
I know you're appreciated Phillipa. A little while ago when there was yet more s**t happening on Admin, all kinds of folks said lots of positive things about you & it was very evident to me that you are well-liked & well-thought-of.
As I was helped to face at my first Group Therapy session, NOT EVERYONE is going to LIKE us!!!!
The leader even said that not everyone in life is going to like us & that quite possibly some people in the room at that very moment might not like me!!!! YIKES. Then she helped me face it & see that I was still alive; I was still okay....and when she asked others if they had any feedback, I found out that there were at least some people there who seemed to like me alot!!I send my love Phillipa & hope for your speedy recovery!
