Last night sucked. My phone has been failing, and I've been spending hours and hours researching the best deal. When I finally decided last night I placed the order online and got an error message. So I called the number listed and waited on hold forever. That's when I realized that although I had my phone charging all day, it hadn't charged. I tried multiple outlets and finally came to the conclusion that it was the charger that was faulty. So even though it was cold, foggy and freezing rain out, I drove to the nearest T-mobile hoping to get a new charger, or place the order through them there, or just get a new phone. Of course I got there within a minute of closing time. I then drove to the mall since there was a t-mobile there, but after seeing the packed parking lot, and much internal debate, I decided against fighting the holiday rush.
So I was really upset last night. I had no phone, and had the interview with the employment agency this morning. I ended up having a panic attack, and after finally getting to sleep sometime this morning, I managed to drag myself out of bed and get to my appointment. I was 20 minutes late because there was this intense fog that made a 20 minute drive take an hour, so I was freaking out because I couldn't even call in to let them know I was on my way.
I finally found the place, after some dubious directions, and things finally started to go right. They were sympathetic about my horrible drive. The tests went okay, although I took 2 hours on a test that was supposed to take 1 hr 10 minutes. But they said I could have extra time and I think I did fairly well. So I felt pretty good leaving there, and drove straight to the t-mobile store. After much time trying to figure out the problem with my phone, and trying to place an order online with their phone, I finally ended up getting a phone at the store. The one I got is AWESOME and was FREE! I'm tickled to death with it, and I can't believe I didn't have to pay anything (I just extended my plan, which I had planned on doing anyway). It has a better camera than my old one AND an MP3 player and radio. It came with extra memory and not only was the price waived, so was the upgrade fee to transfer my plan to the new phone. I saved around $50 off the sale price I had already planned on paying! So I'm just so excited to have had such a good day after being down for so long. I just had to tell someone about it!
