2 of the things I sold were Raku fish.
I put clay through the 'slab roller' - to make it thin & flat, then took it home.
Cut the shape of a fish - about 8 inches long & looking at it from the side.
Made it's eye closed - like a round line with lashes, then made a smiling mouth - made 'scales' with a straw.Made another. Then let the clay harden a bit, then lifted it up so it was sitting on it's 'tummy'. Then curved it sort of like a letter S. so it could sit there by itself steadily.
I've had them for a while, so when I saw that they'd sold it was like having my 2 friendly fish adopted by someone who must have liked them! It was the strangest, but nice feeling!
