Well, I think that everyone who is interested has already let you know what they think, and everyone seems to be in agreement about lifting the posting restriction. However, it is your decision at the end of the day, and you do not seem to like the idea.
Is it the tendancy people have to retain a hypothesis / opinion even after the reasons in support of it have been found to be lacking? There is a name for this (a civil one) but I forget...
