I have evaluations done for learning disabilites. They take a few hours, but they're not too bad. You don't need to go to a hospital to have them done, you can go to a learning specialist or a psychologist. I was tested once in high school, and then again before I entered college (they have to be repeated every 3 years to keep them current). The testing I had in high school confirmed that I have a learning disability that causes me to have slow processing, meaning that it takes me longer to read, complete exams, do math problems, etc. The second set of testing I had showed the same. So, as was the case in high school, I get extended timing (time and a half) on exams to compensate for my disability.
I would definitely recommend looking into getting tested for this, or some other type of learning disability.
Hope some of this was helpful!
