I am studying choral conducting...the audition consists of going in a room with a choir and conducting a piece that the choir hasn't ever seen...then you as the conductor try to make as much music as you can with the resources available in the 20 minutes that you have before the panel of teachers. Then depending on the mood of the chair, I might or might not have an interview that is one of those all-encompasing sorts of things covering anything about music, singing, or conducting gesture that they would care to ask...or I might not because since I attend school there they basically know my skills already. So, anyway, I will just be glad when it is all over and when I can finally know where I am going to live next year and what I am going to do...the uncertainty kills me, it makes my naturally high anxiety level reach new heights of uncomforableness. But it will soon be over...
