I just don't feel prepared

Posted by Racer on April 27, 2006, at 12:26:54

I do feel overwhelmed, though, and that I'm about to fail. So, at least I've gotten something out of it... %-}

This week, I submitted a draft of my semester project, and got feedback on that. That's OK, so don't really need to worry about it.

BUT

I have a quiz today in math. Now, the quizzes, altogether, add up to 15% of the grade. Not so bad -- one could almost skip every quiz and still get a B, right? But y'all know that won't work for me. I'm the one who freaked out entirely when I got 90% on an earlier quiz. This chapter is one I spent less time on, because I was trying to get caught up in my other class. So, I don't feel at all confident. Some of it I really don't feel as though I have the first clue what the heck I'm doing.

Even though I know that I will probably pass the quiz, and even though I know that I will probably earn an A in the class, I'm still disproportionally upset by this. I really feel as though I am about to FAIL in some fundamental way, and that I may as well go back to bed.

You know what? Sometimes I really hate being crazy... :-}

Oh, and I'm also back on fertility drugs, which is MAGNIFYING all of this...
