HB lead is all you need...

You can use mechanical pencils on Scantrons -- as long as your lead is HB. I use 2B, so I can't use my mechanical pencils...
So, being me, I take about six sharpened Ticonderoga pencils with me to all the tests...
And Poet? At least it's not the big fat kind -- remember them?
