Making mCPP out of trazodone. Possible?

hello.
As you can see in this post:

I'm left with a whole pack of trazodone pills and i don't know what to do with them. I thought to ask if it is possible to convert it to mCPP just for fun. It is something that the human body does: It metabolise trazodone into mCPP, so there should be a way to achive it by using chemistry?
Look how similar these 2 molecules are:

I just need to brake the molecule in half, but i know nothing about organic chemistry. Do you think that pyrolysis will work?
