That's a difficult one, for some people Magnesium at bedtime can be stimulating. You could try ZMA which is a formulation of Zinc, Magnesium and Vitamin B6 which I've read many people have good results with helping them to get a better quality of sleep.
A typical ZMA formulation is as follows :
Vitamin B-6 (from Pyridoxine HCI) 15mg 750%
Magnesium (from Magnesium Aspartate) 450mg 110%
Zinc (from Zinc L-Methionine and Zinc Aspartate) 30 mg 200%Check myprotein.co.uk and iherb.com for user reviews of ZMA.

I'd go with Mag. Glycinate for sleep. Let me know if that works for you!

I think that's the form I will try. Lately, a blend of Holy Basil, magnesium citrate, and glycine has been working wonders! A little groggy the next day, but not too bad. When I run out of the citrate, I'll try the magnesium glycinate. Thanks!

Maybe look into magnesium taurinate as well, since it is a combination of taurine and magnesium. Taurine is very useful for sleep.

Thanks! Any tips on a good brand of magnesium taurinate? That seems to be the hardest form to track down.

I've always found that simple magnesium oxide helped me with sleep. You just have to find the right dosage that you can tolerate. It seems that I could only tolerate about 200mg per day.

If I take magnesium sulphate in the morning, it improves my sleep. If I take it at night I can't sleep.
