Hey. I'm sorry. I don't know what to say except that I read your posts and I'm sorry things are so hard and confusing.

:-(

I don't know what to say...

I know it is.

My therapist keeps on telling me that the unitary, linear self is a fiction. That I don't want that - that's what happens to nuerotics - they get stuck in a rigid definition of self. Then he adds, "Of course you never had the luxury of being nuerotic."

But for 5 minutes I do, just for 5 minutes, let me understand how "normal" people walk around, understanding themselves, perceiving themselves. How do they do it? What does it feel like?

Sometimes I feel like things won't get better either, and I get sick of hearing my T say that they will. But he is right. I can feel so bad one day, and then maybe I'll have a good hour and things will be okay for a while. I certainly empathize with you and am thinking of you. Please take care, and write back if you wnat to talk about it. I have maybe been in a sort of similiar place.

Thank you Alexandra, Cricket and Rachel.
Please don't feel frustrated - i frustrate people a lot - it helps so much that someone hears me even. Thank you for hearing and caring and understanding.
It's so hard to live with parts - the only thing harder is to live without them.
Sometimes my T tries to say things to explain the normalness of having so much discrepancy in my life and it's not very comforting. it would be better to find a way to have more oneness.
Thank you again for being there- i can't see T enough for it to make a big difference and there's always too many dilemmas, too much wrong and never an answer that works for everything.

It's comforting to know that others are struggling with this too. i know that it's hard for everyone and i'll try to have a word of comfort and be there for you also.
i'm so thankful i have a place to come.

Take care,
kerria
