I am so scared don't know what happened to me. I was writing an e-mail and all of a sudden didn't know what I was doing and what or where I was. I don't know what's happening? I do have to agoraphobia and can't even let my husband leave the house to go to the yard. No hospitals for me either. Love Phillipa. Don't know what is going on and pdoc isn't near us I seem to get worse daily.

Have you ever had a neurology workup to rule out neurological things like seizures? It doesn't hurt to rule things like that out.
But I'm having similar problems with my severe anxiety and sleep problems right now. I have times when I kind of go blank and it takes a bit to recollect myself, and it can be sort of scary, or at least discombobulating.
If you haven't had a neurology workup you might want to look into it. It's a good thing to have, I think. I had a neurology workup from my migraine neurologist.
If everything comes out ok there, anxiety reduction techniques might help. Have you had any luck with practicing your breathing, or doing soft belly, or other physical and visualization techniques designed to reduce anxiety?

I dunno how long it lasted Phillipa?
Dinah has good ideas for sure.
Anyhow, I do that sort of thing fairly often, specially if I stressed or not sleeping well. It makes me feel briefly dizzy, but i just shake my head, sit a minute to see if it'll come back to me, and if it doesn,t, I just move on to something else.
Sometimes it all comes back to me later, sometimes it doesn't.
Definately rule out nuero causes (I haven't done it! lol!), but good idea.
I've just kinda gotten used to it, and slow down when I know i am that way. I am rather like that today. I was SUCH a ditz at the dentists office. Oh well.
Hope you feel better soon.

Wow that sounds like it would throw you off.
I hope you're feeling better. One step at a time. Take it easy, be kind to yourself, you're doing the best you can.

Philippa that sounds pretty scary. I get that sort of thing when I'm very stressed or distracted. Is it like you've zoned out? Then when you come back you have no idea what you're doing? I aree with the above, a little deep breathing, try and stay focused.
Have you been out on your bike at all? That must help to blow those cobwebs away. Hope you're ok Phillipa.
