Something else, not a trigger I think

Posted by Happyflower 1 :-) on August 25, 2007, at 16:49:52

My old T asked me how my performance went on goodbye session. Well I never told him about that. Really I didn't, it never came up, so how did he know about that? I mentioned it on Babble, so I am wondering if he is reading the boards.

Remembering me wondering that before? One time he said, so YOURE Happyflower. I was showing him a picture on the net, and my screen name was also Happyflower, so he had to type that in, so I wonder if he has been reading here all along? He knew I posted about therapy and stuff on the net, but I never told him where. But since Babble is big, I wonder if he found out. sigh. Jerk!

HF

I'm sorry you're dealing with all these "after the event" sort of thoughts. I am sure it is driving you crazy. Of course I don't know, but I strongly suspect that your old T is not reading Babble. I think our T's get enough of us all day long that they don't hve time in the day, and they don't have the desire day or night to read more about our group therapies.

I especially don't believe that your old T and your new T will talk about you at all. Furthermore, I don't think that your new T would decide not to believe you. Remember they have professional ethics to live by, not mention a hundred other reasons why they wouldn't do that.

I really am sorry that you have to deal with the doubts and the questions - it's the whole trust thing and comes from your past. I totally respect you, so please don't think I'm being critical. It is very hard to stop thinking the way we used to and to trust.

Relax. you've had a very emotional week. Try to get your thoughts on good things that have nothing to do with t and T's for a few days... or hours.... or even a few minutes??

Peace to you.

There. And you KNOW of course what I'll do to his car....

I hope this stuff can ease for you soon HF, but I guess like mourning, it'll just take time.
Take it easy HF.
