First, I'm truly sorry about your miscarriage. Whenever there is a fluctuation in hormones- puberty, pms, pregnancy, post-partum, menopause- there is always the risk of a mood episode in someone who is susceptible (as you are) to depression. The worst psychotic depression I've ever experienced came after the birth of my son. I believe it takes 2 cycles to stabilze after a miscarriage- I don't know if that's hormonal or physically(uterus) or both. Whether this was a planned pregnancy or not, make sure you take care of yourself emotionally. I hope you're feeling better soon.
