I agree with the previous poster's advice. I'd like to add that Risperidal is often used to control rages. Ask your doctor about it.

There is a good book out called THE EXPLOSIVE CHILD and the author's last name is Green, I think.

My son has Asperger's Syndrome, a mild form of Autism, and many of the characteristics overlap those of ADHD. And I know alot of the kids who have rage control problems are given Risperidal. However, it does cause weight gain and appetite increase. She might also benefit from therapy to help her control her anger and begin to recognize her triggers.
