My BMI number is 23

Posted by Deneb on April 29, 2006, at 18:58:01

My BMI number is 23 and I'm going to learn to be okay with it. I'm going to try my best to eat fewer calories (around 1200) and exercise everyday. Hopefully I'll start to lose some weight. I'm going to try really hard to not worry about how fat I look.

According to my doctor, I'm healthy and only a little overweight. I'm going to try really hard to like me the way I am.

I'm going to try my hardest not to binge and purge. I'm not going to freak out if I eat some cake and chips.

I'm recording everything I eat and counting calories. I hope this works for me. I'm hoping to lose 15 pounds over a year.

Is there anyone here with eating disordered behaviours who was able to lose extra weight in a healthy way?

What helped you?
