What I have learned is that if you are craving something, it's better sometimes to just give in and have a little of the "forbidden fruit". Notice, I said a little. I used to eat five cookies, or a bar of chocolate, if that's what I was craving, but now I can be satisfied with less. If you allow yourself to have a little of what you want, you suffer less and cut down on the chances of bingeing on something you really don't want.
