that's SO sweet!

There's such a thing as healthy attachment. You want your kids to feel that they can come to you when they have a problem, or when they want to share their success, or if they just need a hug. On the other hand, they also need to know how do laundry and where to buy soap when the go off to college :)

I bet your kids do just fine :)
