I'm not a doctor either. But I know what I'm going/went through. It's possible the depression you feel while coming off of Zoloft is 'Natural' but it could also be Re-bound depression.

I have talked to people on this board and others that have taken 200-mg a day and stopped cold with no side effect other than mild headaches.

On the other hand I have talked with some that have used razor-blades to shave minute slivers off each pill as they slowly and gradually reduce. Many of them still had discontinuation syndrome.

Point is that everyone is different and just because you reduced slowly, doesn't mean is was slow enough for you. Try again and reduce slower. You'll have to to find a pace that's right for you.
