I haven't heard of summer seasonal affective disorder before - but I have indeed heard of the winter variety.

Do you have any allergies or anything that happen around the start of summer?
Any bad experiences or nasty stuff that you associate with summer? (aside from the depression itself - of course)
Are you on any medication to try to prevent the depression?

I get depressed sometimes. But it is more likely to be a winter thing for me.

I have learned a bit about how I usually get depressed in response (an extreme one to be sure) to stuff that is going on in my environment. Thats why I ask whether there may be stuff going on for you over summer that may be stressful or whatever that might not be an issue for you at other times. Or whether there are bad associations with summer for you.

Anyways.... That was a bit of a ramble (sorry sorry). But welcome to Babble. I hope you like it here :-)
