By the way, Survivor, what you are experiencing with respect to your therapist is real and so common they have a name for it - transference. Every therapist is supposed to watch for it and manage it. So you aren't crazy or abnormal. That doesn't change the fact that it hurts, but at least know that you are normal there. Do know that people always work through it.
