One dimensional as in only measuring what the construct of intelligence that is represented by IQ tests? Because surely you don't mean one dimensional in that IQ tests only measure one aspect of IQ as in only verbal abilities on timed tests, or perhaps only perceptual abilities when there is no time requirement. Or perhaps attention and concentration? Or abstract non-verbal reasoning? Or perhaps general knowledge?

Just curious as to what you meant.
