I should add that I love my son more than anything. I don't think that came across in my post but he brings such joy to my life. Unfortunately, his birth triggered the re-emergence of my problems (severe post-partum depression brought major depression/ BPD out of remission). But I would never go back and change things. I love having him in my life.
