I am angry, please help

Posted by Miller on December 11, 2002, at 8:57:48

I really need some help. On Friday night I took a LOT of sleeping pills. Unfortunately, I woke up on Saturday. To make a long story short, I left a message for my psychologist on Sunday morning. He called back and we spoke for quite a while. He told me I had to speak with my husband and tell him everything. He also made me take a number for a local Psych hospital. He said if I checked into the hospital, he would see me Monday, if not, he would see me Thursday (my scheduled appointment).

Here's where the problem comes in. A few hours later the police showed up at my door. They were responding to a suicide threat. They forced me to go to the local Mental Health Complex. Thank God, I didn't have to be admitted.

I am not for sure, but I believe my shrink is who called the police. I am so angry. If he was going to do that, shouldn't he have told me? When the police were at my house, I begged them to call him. I didn't want to go to the Mental Health Complex. I felt if they spoke with him, he would tell them it wouldn't be necessry for me to go. The police did call and left a message on his machine. They did not tell him why they were calling, but they did say they were the police and needed a call back to my house. He has never called back.

I have my appointment tomorrow with him. I want to feel better. I am SO angry at him, I am not sure how to handle the anger and to go to the appointment for help. Please, if anybody has advise, please let me know. I need help, bad.
